Manna & Quail Homestead began in October 2025. For many years, we dreamed of raising chickens for meat and eggs but we didn’t have land for them. In September of 2025, we began researching quail and decided we wanted to begin a quail journey. We ordered hatching eggs and an incubator and fell in love with raising these beautiful little birds. At first, we only planned to keep a small flock so we could have a steady supply of fresh eggs for our household. However, once we started raising quail, we enjoyed it far more than we ever imagined. We also loved the taste of the eggs so much that we began sharing them with people from our church and started getting weekly requests for more eggs. We have since grown our flock tremendously, received our NPIP certification, and obtained licensing to sell our eggs publicly in Ohio and West Virginia.
At Manna & Quail Homestead, we want to always make sure that the eggs we are putting out are high quality so we feed our birds only non-medicated, non-GMO all natural feed from a high quality feed produced right here in the state of Ohio.
